I am a bit of a lens nerd. With the help of glasses/spectacle design software provided by 3DNA, I can design frames that work well with your prescription. In optics, how big the lens needs to be made (lens diameter) will greatly impact the final result both in lens performance and how it looks cosmetically. I have been able to reduce lens thickness by well over a millimeter which, in the optical industry, is quite a bit. 3DNA puts lens-shape under my command. I can design frames that can help trauma victims who have residual asymmetry or enhance an existing prosthetic by shifting the placement of the eye to make the glasses, and ultimately you, look more symmetrical through the glasses.
